Who: Anyone that's interested in the boss fight.
What: Pre-boss fight planning.
Where: 1st floor, Ruins.

[The a few days ago, any of the strongest players on the floor thus far will have received an invite to meet up at the Ruins today. The reason isn't made clear why, but since it's requesting all the strongest players so far, then it certainly sounds important at least.

News of this meet up spread fast. Even rumors started to go around about it as well. So, really, anyone who knows about is free to show up. At the ruins, they'll find a few other random players sitting on the seating's talking amongst themselves as well.]

[After a while a young NPC man will step up to the front where all can see him. He looks around and nods after deciding that everyone who is going to be here has arrived by now.

Eventually he speaks:]

Recently, the 1st floor's boss room has been located. [He stops speaking here for a minute to let this sink in for everyone before continuing.] It's best if we clear the levels as soon as possible. As such, we'll be challenging the boss on this upcoming Saturday. If anyone is coming, then we should make arrangements and strategies.

[Sol's there- considering the...circumstances of his training regiment the past couple weeks, he'd reached a frighteningly high level in a short amount of time; but that also meant that even though he'd leveled quickly, he'd spent an equal amount of time vegging out, healing from the near-brink point he'd driven himself to without the aid of preplanning for potions.]

[And speaking of potions- after being pelted by messages for the past few weeks from a certain someone, this last message he hadn't expected at all; but it piqued his interest quickly, and he figured if he was going to bother dragging his carcass back to civilization (..relatively speaking), he might as well do it for this.]

Boss, huh... [He wondered how similar it would be. It'd been tough, but at the time the two of them had found some players they knew from another game and went for it then. This time, he had no such connections- at least, not ones he was willing to put up to this test. He silently wonders if he should go for it solo...]

[ Strategies, huh? Nope, not exactly her forte. She'll leave that up to the smart folks.

But sitting around and listening to people talk about these sort of things isn't her style either. So, she's walking and looking around and sees Sol alone there. She's surprised to see someone kind of just hanging along there so she narrows her eyes to get a better view on the name of the player- Ah! ]

Hey! Hey, Sol! [ She waves energetically at him in hopes of getting his attention. Though, it probaaaably would have been a better idea if she had clarified who she is considering when they had met her avatar had been a guy. ]

[He's definitely not expecting to be picked out of the crowd by some girl of all things, he thought he'd hardly spoken to that many people much less given his name out...]

[He stares at her dumbly as she runs towards him, face screwed up in thought as he wracks his brain trying to think of where he might have seen her before- but he comes up with nothing, so when she reaches him, he can only give a mystified grunt in response.] ..Uh?

What's with the "uh?" That's a rude thing to say to someone you haven't seen in a whil--

[ ... oh. then she remembers about the avatar thing. Whoops. ]

Ohhh! Ohhhh, that's right my avatar...

Ah, does Altair ring any bells?

[There's another long stare and a squint as he stares at her face, trying to remember.........]

[....!]

Nope.

[Well, maybe he was just bad with names.]

[ Oh. Oh, she sees how it is. No, no, Estelle Bright. You must be the mature one here. Be polite and civil about this. BE UPSTANDING AND ADULT-LIKE...!

Yeah, no. That's impossible since it annoys her that she is so easily forgettable. ]

... You really are an old man if your memory is going already. [ It's only been like! A month!! ]

[He recoils with offense, staring down at her with the grumpy ~~old man~~ glare of one that does not have the patience for this crap.]

Yeah, real old at the ripe age'a 28-- the hell is your problem, kid? Beat it! [He sneers. How was he supposed to keep track of every peppy little girl that crossed his path!?]

[...Ah, now that she was being so loud and annoying, though, memories filter through of the first day again....]

Oh. Fishing pole kid?

[ No amount of glaring and grumpiness can make Estelle falter. Well, no, okay. They just annoy her in exchange. ]

You're only just entering your middle ages but you already sound like a grumpy old man! [ But she's back to smiles again when it seems like there's some recognition finally. Yes, good. It almost feels like gaining a victory in a strange way. ]

Yeah, that's right! But I have a name too, you know.

Enteri--!? [What!! He's only 28 thank you very much that's hardly middle ages!!!!!]

[(He's a little.. defensive. Yes.)]

[He turns away with a scoff at that point, resolved not to like this chick forevermore.]

Screw you. I don't give a shit what your name is. [Is someone bitter about being called old? Maybe. Yes. Definitely.]

Don't be like that. If you keep all that scowling so much, then you'll just start getting wrinkles. [ to match with your old age!!

... okay, no, at first she was just doing this because she was annoyed, but now it's just funny. Gonna bother old man Sol forever. ]

[ Sitting quietly, Kloe only listened to the man's announcement at first. After the opening day, she had been trying to train, get mind off things. As such, she was at a decent level, if not too low, at least.

Once he's done speaking, she waits a bit for others to have a chance to speak up first before she stands up and asks her question to everyone there. While she doesn't have any information to share, if they're going to talk about strategies, then it's best if they all cooperate and share what they learn so far about the boss, isn't it? ]

If I may ask, what kind of information do we have about the boss so far?

[He frowns, crossing his arms as he surveys the people here. He can't deny that advancing in the game is important, of course, if they want to get out of here, but it seems such a dangerous risk to take...]

I'm afraid I don't know much, but I strongly urge everyone to buy as many potions as possible while we still have the opportunity. If this truly is the boss battle...

[ He has a good point. Supplies are going to be crucial here. She'd been careful with them for a while, so she should have enough for a normal fight. A boss battle, however, is a different story, isn't it? After all, she not only needs to consider herself, but others as well. ]

Yes, I agree. Considering the circumstances, it's best to be prepared for anything. I should have enough potions in stock, so I would be able to share mine if needed, but unlike the crystals, potions require some time to activate...

[ and those few minutes may not be something they can afford here. But still, they all can't exactly afford to get many, maybe even just one, of them with their money too... ]

Well, the prices for crystals are unfortunately rather expensive, but it might be helpful to have one on hand, at least, in case of... dire situation.

[He's still frowning, checking over his inventory briefly. He should have grinded more, try to get some money together for crystals; he's worried his shortsidedness could have serious consequences.]

I've also got some that I can share. It's very... upsetting to have to rely on them for life and death, however.

I believe so. Tolbana is quite close to here, so we should be able to head there quickly enough.

[ Oh, she knows the answer to this one! ... A bit. ]

If they haven't changed it, then it should be the Kobold Lord guy. I think the what stood out the most about him was the three lackeys he has that fight with him in the battle.

[ smiles a bit! Any type of information helps, really. Plus, hearing Estelle talks here makes her feel a bit more at ease. ]

[Surprisingly enough Rinoa isn't even late. In fact, she actually gets there early of all things! As far as she's concerned this has to be important, so naturally she's going to make sure she's there with plenty of time to figure out what's going on.]

[Of course since she's early there really isn't much to do right now, so until more people arrive she's just going to help herself to some lunch. She's get plenty so if anyone else wants a snack, she'll be more than willing to share. Don't worry, she didn't make any of this food personally, so it's all safe to eat.]

I wonder what's so important...

[ This girl here is ~~eying~~ staring at Rinoa's food. And, there's a bit of drool escaping from the sides of her mouth... ]

Ahhh... [ MONSTER STOMACH GRUMBLE. ] ... I should have ate before I came here.

[Looking up from her own meal, Rinoa smiles at the stranger warmly. Sure, it's a pretty obvious ploy, but she doesn't really mind. She'd packed extra for a reason.]

Good thing I brought plenty so I could share, huh? But it's not going to be free.

[She tries for a mock stern face, but it doesn't last for more than a brief second.]

[ Arriving a little early as well, Kloe is a bit relieved to see someone else here and walks over to talk to her, which hopefully will make herself less terse. ]

Perhaps someone is attempting to assemble a party for a quest?

Why send a mass message, then? Since we're all still on the first floor it's been pretty easy to find people to do a quest with.

[She leans back slightly, offering the newcomer a friendly smile.]

I don't know what exactly, but I bet it's going to be super important considering the message. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty excited to see what's going on.

That's a good point. I suppose it must be something else...

[ What's more important than a quest that requires a lot of players? ... Well, there's one she can think of, but... isn't that a bit too soon? She would certainly help with it, of course, but some part of her still feels a bit uncertain. Lost in her thought, she only reacts when she hears Rinoa's voice again, hurriedly returning that smile. ]

... Oh, um, yes, of course. Hopefully, I will be able to be of some use here.

[They're both thinking it, so one of them might as well say it.]

You don't think they've found the boss room already, do you? Because it seems way too soon for that.

It's... certainly a possibility.

[ And one she has to consider seriously now that someone else said it. If that's really the case, then... well, she doesn't have a choice but to help with it. Still, a part of her agrees with the other girl. It... still feels too soon... even if it's already more than a week since they've been here. ]

... I suppose I have to agree. I'm not sure if I have sufficiently prepare myself for it yet.

I've been focused on preparing for this, but it just feels way too easy somehow. I know this is only the first floor, but I kinda thought it'd be more complicated than this.

[Maybe it really is just clear dungeon, find boss room. Not super ground breaking, but it's a pretty tried and true formula.]
